Archives & Research Centre

During the museum season—June-end of September—most of the Society’s archive is located at the museum and is available for use during museum hours.

The rest of the year, the Research Room at 70 Park Road, Elmsdale houses the archive and is available generally one day a week, or by appointment. See our schedule of days open at 70 Park on our Facebook page or contact the Society through our email.

Copy facilities are available for a modest charge, or researchers are welcome to take pictures of text and images, or bring their own portable scanners. Access to internet research is limited at present, although it is expected that it will become available soon for a small fee.

Please note: Our research resources cannot be borrowed; they are for on-site use only.
